Marche Region renews ‘English for You’ program for over 1,000 students

London – The Marche Region has renewed its “English for You” initiative for the 2025–2027 period, targeting students in their final two years of upper secondary school. The regional government has approved new guidelines for the public call, and the program will be funded through the PR FSE+ 2021–2027 initiative, with nearly €2.5 million allocated. “The program has already proven to be an effective tool for strengthening young people’s language skills—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds,” said Stefano Aguzzi, Regional Councillor for Labour and Training. “It offers meaningful educational experiences both in Italy and abroad.” The initiative will include 19 two-year courses involving more than 1,100 students. Each course will offer 320 hours of English instruction in Italy, delivered across four classes per project, followed by a three-week study trip to an English-speaking country. Up to 28 students per course will take part in the international component, designed to enhance linguistic and cultural fluency while fostering global integration and European citizenship. At the end of the program, students will receive an internationally recognized English language certification, accredited by Italy’s Ministry of Education, valid for both future academic and career paths.
