Madeo introduces premium Calabrian ‘nduja to the U.S

New York – For the first time, an authentic Calabrian ‘nduja — the iconic spicy, spreadable salami — is officially arriving in the United States. The historic debut will be led by Filiera Madeo, a family-run business founded 40 years ago in the hills of the Greek Sila in Calabria, which has grown into one of the region’s leading agri-food companies. At the Fancy Food Show in New York, Madeo is presenting its full line of 'Nduja Nobile, an elevated, premium version of the traditional delicacy. “Bringing one of the most emblematic products of our culinary heritage to the United States marks a pivotal moment for us,” said Anna Madeo, the company’s CEO. “It’s a testament to the value we build every day with dedication and passion — not just in our products, but in promoting Southern Italian excellence beyond Europe.” Nduja Nobile is Madeo’s modern take on the classic, crafted exclusively within their controlled supply chain. It features select pork and fresh chili pepper in paste form, all cultivated and processed in-house, offering a lighter and more refined flavor profile.
