Italian jewelry firms shine at UAE’s leading fair

Sharjah – Fifty of Italy’s top jewelry companies are set to take part in the 56th edition of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, the most important trade fair in the UAE dedicated to jewelry, goldsmithing and watchmaking. From September 24 to 28, Italian excellence will be represented in a 696-square-meter Pavilion – plus a 60-square-meter lounge to welcome clients and visitors – hosting 58 stands.
The Italian Pavilion has been organized by Artex for over 40 editions and has become one of the highlights of the fair, which last year attracted 87,000 visitors from 106 countries, including 1,400 professional operators. “The pavilion has grown to become one of the main attractions of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, which itself has developed into the region’s leading jewelry event,” said Sara Biagiotti of Artex.
This year’s Italian exhibitors come from Piedmont, Campania, Tuscany, Lombardy, Lazio, Marche, Veneto and Apulia. The fair as a whole brings together 500 exhibitors from 21 countries, with a strong focus on Gulf markets such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.
