Misurata - A change of command ceremony was recently held at the Misurata Detachment of Italy’s bilateral assistance and support mission in Libya (MIASIT). Colonel Stefano Ferrari handed over authority to Colonel Claudio Libertucci, the new detachment commander. The event was attended by Brigadier General Maurizio Settesoldi, head of the MIASIT Mission, who praised Colonel Ferrari’s work and expressed full confidence in Colonel Libertucci’s leadership moving forward. Numerous Italian and Libyan military officials were also present.
Concluding his seven-month term, Colonel Ferrari thanked the detachment personnel for their dedication and professionalism, stressing that the results achieved were the outcome of cohesion, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility-qualities essential for strengthening institutional dialogue and bilateral cooperation.
