Monte Carlo – An exceptional recital at the Salle Garnier in Monte Carlo. Cecilia Bartoli and Plácido Domingo will perform together on 14 February in a programme specially devised for them and deeply rooted in their shared Mediterranean sensibility. They will be accompanied at the piano by David Fray, for a musical encounter marked by emotion and artistic exchange. From their first meeting in New York to the recording of Idomeneo in 1994, these two extraordinary artists have crossed paths many times on the world’s leading stages. In 2023 they already shared the stage in Monte Carlo for a memorable operatic concert, greeted with great enthusiasm by the audience. (9colonne)
