Valletta - Valletta will host an evening dedicated to literature on February 20, when writer Giovanni Costantino visits the Italian Cultural Institute at 6:30 pm to present his latest book, The Lives of Illustrious Authors.
Rather than offering a traditional academic portrait, Costantino’s book gives voice to some of the most influential figures in world literature, portraying them as vivid, ironic and unexpectedly intimate personalities. Through anecdotes, reflections and small revelations, the authors seem to step off the page and speak directly to the reader, as if engaged in a relaxed conversation.
