Tiramisu takes center stage once again in Thailand as the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce hosts the third edition of its competition dedicated to Italy’s iconic dessert.
The event will take place on March 11 starting at 10:00 a.m. in Bangkok, at the Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Professional chefs will compete in two categories: the execution of a classic tiramisu and the creation of an original version, with complete freedom in the choice of ingredients.
An expert jury will select the winners based on a set of criteria including visual presentation, texture, balance of flavors, authenticity or creativity, cleanliness and organization, and overall taste. Each category will be scored on a scale of up to five points per criterion, for a maximum total of 30 points.
The competition aims to promote Italian culinary excellence while encouraging creative reinterpretations of one of the country’s most beloved desserts.
