University of Bari signs cooperation agreement at Italy–Uzbekistan Rectors’ Forum

The University of Bari Aldo Moro has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek during the second Italy–Uzbekistan Rectors’ Forum, held in Tashkent.
The agreement aims to foster student, faculty and staff mobility, launch joint and double-degree programs, strengthen scientific cooperation and develop shared international projects. The signing took place in the presence of Kongratbay Sharipov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and Anna Maria Bernini, Italy’s Minister for Universities and Research.
The University of Bari was represented by Rector Roberto Bellotti and the Rector’s delegate for international relations, Alessandro Rubino. The forum also provided an opportunity to explore new avenues of collaboration with Kimyo International University in Tashkent, further strengthening academic ties between Italy and Central Asia.
