Hong Kong – Italian pianist Alessandro Martire will perform in concert in Hong Kong on March 4 at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Shaw Auditorium of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
The program will feature pieces from his latest album, “Places of Music: Postcards from Soul.” Born in Como in 1992, Martire is an acclaimed pianist and composer known for blending contemporary classical music with pop and minimalism. He began composing at the age of 15 and later studied at the Berklee College of Music, while also earning a degree in International Relations from the University of Milan.
Renowned for innovative projects such as the Floating Waves Concert and the Ice Waves Experience in St. Moritz (2021), Martire is also the founder of the Lake Endless Joy Festival in Como. His collaborations include National Geographic, and he was awarded the Nations Artistic Award in 2021.
He composed Aria for the unveiling of the emblem of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and performed The Future of Nature at COP28. Martire is also the founder of Infinity Sound, a non-profit philanthropic organization established in 2015.
