Hong Kong – Two of the most radical and creative voices in contemporary avant-garde theater will meet audiences in Hong Kong. The Italian Cultural Institute will host Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella, who on April 23 at 7:00 pm will present their book “Clamori al vento” at Soho House. The artists and performers will appear the following day at 6:00 pm at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for a masterclass, which will open with the screening of selected excerpts from “The Roof and the Chance”, the interactive television program produced in Italy for Rai3. From there, the artists will guide the audience through their creative process using photographs, video materials, anecdotes, and personal stories tracing the development of their work. The masterclass will include brief performance moments, including an exercise drawn from “8-11-13-17”, a work that explores the logic and paradoxes of numerical civilization. The session will conclude with an open discussion, offering space for questions, curiosity, and direct exchange with the artists. (9colonne)
