From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Tirana – The Italian Screens – New Italian Cinema festival has started in Albania, an initiative designed to showcase the best of Italian cinema, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cinecittà for the Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture. For this edition, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana in collaboration with the Italian Embassies in Albania and Kosovo, the Consulate General in Vlora, and the cities of Tirana, Shkodër, and Vlora, five films were selected, diverse in genre and setting: The Grace by Paolo Sorrentino, The Cities of the Plain by Francesco Sossai, A Year of School by Laura Samani, Brief Love Story by Ludovica Rampoldi, and Outside by Mario Martone. The films will be screened in Tirana at Cinema Millennium from April 19 to 22, in Pristina at Kino Armata from April 21 to 23, in Vlora at the Cultural Center on April 20 and 23, and in Shkodër at Kinema Republika on April 24 and 25. All screenings will be in Italian with English subtitles. (9Colonne)
