Italy is set to participate in Oman Sustainability Week 2026, marking its first collective national presence at the event. The exhibition will take place in Muscat from May 17 to 21 at the Oman International Exhibition Center.
Recognized as the Sultanate’s leading platform for sustainability and energy transition, the event brings together government institutions, industry leaders, investors, and international stakeholders across sectors such as energy, water, waste management, mobility, and renewable resources.
The 2025 edition attracted around 42,000 visitors, confirming its growing international relevance. The 2026 edition will provide Italian companies and institutions with a key opportunity to showcase advanced technologies and expertise in energy and environmental transition.
Oman is currently undergoing a significant transformation of its energy mix, aiming to generate around 30% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030, with a strong focus on solar and wind power.(9colonne)
