Sydney – As part of Eatalian Talks, held alongside the Sydney Writers' Festival, Australian authors Charlotte Wood and Ryan Butta will discuss their connection with Italy and Italian literature on Tuesday, May 19, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney. Joining them will be Miles Gibson, a young Australian director, writer, and patron who, together with his family, founded “Casa Morphosi,” an artist residency project in Abruzzo open to writers and artists seeking a period of inspiration in a medieval village on the edge of the Majella National Park. “Casa Morphosi” is set to welcome its first writers from August 2026. During the event, Gibson will discuss the origins and ambitions of the initiative, including its aim of fostering cultural exchange between Australian and Italian writers. (9colonne)
