Lyon – The Comites of Lyon is bringing back its used book market initiative following the success of last year’s edition, renewing a solidarity project aimed at supporting charitable causes. Participants are invited to donate Italian-language books in good condition by dropping them off at the Italian Cultural Institute in Lyon, where the Comites will collect them. Eligible donations include novels, essays and children’s books. The collected volumes will later be sold at symbolic prices during a charity event organized by the Comites, with proceeds donated to a selected nonprofit organization. The initiative combines cultural promotion with social engagement, encouraging reading in Italian while supporting community-based solidarity projects. (9colonne)
