Hong Kong – On September 23, from 3 to 8 p.m., visitors to Lok Fu Place in Hong Kong will be able to explore a wide variety of European languages in a single afternoon as part of the 12th European Day of Languages. At each language stand, visitors will be able to take part in a three-minute session to learn useful words or phrases from native-speaking teachers or fluent speakers of the language of their choice. After each session, participants will receive a stamp in their personal “European Language Passport.” Those who collect five stamps will be eligible to enter a prize draw, with the chance to win French, German and Italian language courses. The event is organized by the EU Office in Hong Kong and Macao in collaboration with Alliance Française, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong, the Italian Cultural Institute and Società Dante Alighieri.
