Berlin - Opening today, September 11, at the MMAE720 gallery space in Berlin, Contesto - Experience in Relation is a group contemporary art exhibition curated by Giovanni De Feo, an artist, musician, and curator originally from Battipaglia who has long worked in the German capital. This marks De Feo's third consecutive Berlin Art Week project following exhibitions in 2024 and 2025. Among the featured artists is Campanian painter Fernando Mangone, whose inclusion stems from a longstanding artistic and personal friendship with De Feo rooted in their shared southern Italian origins. The exhibition explores how an artwork's perception shifts depending on its environment, integrating space, music, live performance, and audience interaction into a collective experience. For Mangone, bringing his globally-themed urban paintings to an international public in Berlin offers a dynamic new context for dialogue across artistic mediums.
