Savannah - "A fellow countryman who is bringing great honor to Friuli Venezia Giulia in the United States." With these words, regional governor Massimiliano Fedriga welcomed Trieste native Tiziano Bernard to the regional palace following his recognition as the best flight instructor in the U.S. for the second year in a row.
During the visit - attended by Bernard and his parents - Fedriga praised the aerospace engineer's teaching skills, which allowed him to outperform 2,500 other candidates. Bernard currently resides and works in Savannah, Georgia.
