From Italy comes a project looking toward Europe and the international market. RAI and Warner Music Italy have joined forces to launch Fourteen, the first Italo-European K-Pop girl group at the heart of an original transmedia project that seamlessly connects music, TV series, digital platforms, social communities, and live entertainment. K-Pop has evolved into one of the most powerful cultural and musical languages for the new generation, transcending traditional music boundaries into a global entertainment universe. Fourteen is built around four talented girls to speak directly to teen audiences through their daily digital habits. Selected from over 5,000 applicants through auditions in Naples, Milan, and Rome, the members boast an average age of 14: Viola (Viola Scalzo, 13, from Biella), Deegee (Sofia Di Giamberardino, 14, from Rome), Cahaya (14, from Barcelona, of Swedish and Indonesian descent), and Sofy (Sofia Peleggi, 15, from Rome). Their debut single, "One More Kiss," released by Warner Music Italy, features top international songwriters and producers such as Sweden’s Andreas Carlsson and Erik Lidbom, Grammy-winning veterans of the global pop and K-Pop scenes. The producers are already working on tracks for an upcoming original TV series starring Fourteen, slated to air in 2027 on V/BE, the new RAI Kids channel dedicated to teens. This highlights the project’s innovative nature: television portrays the girls, music brings their stories off-screen, social media builds relationships, and the community brings it all to life every day.
