Cairo – Italian violinist Domenico Nordio will perform in Cairo on September 26 with the Cairo Opera House Orchestra, conducted by Maestro El Shaeli. Nordio showed exceptional talent from an early age: he gave his first recital at the age of 10 and, just six years later, won the Viotti International Competition in Vercelli. He studied under leading masters including Corrado Romano and Michele Auclair, and went on to receive international recognition at competitions such as the Thibaud Competition in Paris, the Sigall Competition in Viña del Mar and the Francescatti Competition in Marseille. In 1988, winning the Eurovision Grand Prix marked the decisive breakthrough in his international career. Since then, Nordio has performed at major concert halls around the world and worked with some of the most prestigious orchestras, building a career marked by high-profile collaborations and numerous accolades.
