Beirut – On November 3, the Italian Cultural Institute of Beirut will host the interactive exhibition “Pimpa Travels to Italy” at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel School in Fanar. Dedicated to the famous cartoon dog created by Altan, the exhibition features 13 interactive panels designed to introduce children to Italian excellence, from nature and sports to cuisine, design, and space research. Promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and curated by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, the event includes an engaging puppet show where an animator and a Pimpa marionette will guide the young audience through Italy with a fun, educational dialogue. Attendees will also receive copies of the board book Pimpa Travels to Italy, which guides preschoolers through Italy's rich artistic, historical, and culinary heritage alongside iconic figures like Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Mona Lisa. The book is available in twelve languages, including Arabic.
