De Vero Campisi piano duet on tour

(Jul. 4th) They have already enchanted Edinburgh and Dublin, and now prepare to fly overseas. The international tour of the piano duo composed by Aldo de Vero and Giuseppe Campisi will in fact continue on July 10th inNew York. The event in the Big Apple is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, at its headquarters, in collaboration with the Associated Chamber Music Players. The duo will perform the suite "Ma Mère l'Oye" by Maurice Ravel, the Sonata by Francis Poulenc, the “Slavonic March, Op 31” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and songs by Gioacchino Rossini, Rosario Fronte and Gianfranco Gioia. After New York, the two musicians will be in Toronto on July 12th and 13th, and then to London and Paris on September 9th and 27th.

Aldo de Vero and Giuseppe Campisi live and teach in two different cities: one in Naples, the other one in Avola. Despite the distance, the piano duo, born in 2006, has found an excellent relationship since their very first show and performed an amazing number of concerts in Italy and abroad. The duo repertoire features almost all the literature for piano four hands piano and a good part of the two-hands. Lately the Duo has released a live CD, and they are presenting it through a European tour that has brought – up to now – Aldo and Giuseppe to RAI, Palermo, St. Martin in the Fields, London, St. Giles Cathedral and Edinburgh Society of Musicians, Edinburgh , St. Ann’s and Italian Cultural Institute, Dublin, Théâtre De La Main D'Or, Paris, Italian Cultural Institute, New York, Toronto.
