Prague – Starting in October, the Book Club organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague will take on a new format, offering one meeting in Italian, held in person, and another in Czech, as always online. Participation in the two events, which are independent of each other, is open even to those who have not read the selected book: the club remains an excellent opportunity to chat and to discover Italian authors and works.
This year’s program, which runs until early 2026, will be dedicated to crime novels. The first meeting will focus on Andrea Camilleri’s The Shape of Water, chosen to mark the centenary of the author’s birth. The book was published in Czech in 2004 by Paseka Publishing House, in Alice Flemrová’s translation.
The event will take place on October 9 at 6 p.m. in the screening room of the Italian Cultural Institute. The discussion will be moderated by Alessandro Venturini. (9colonne)
