Sydney – In the same week that the MotoGP World Championship lands in Australia, with the Prima Pramac Racing team competing at Phillip Island, Pramac celebrates another major milestone in the country—bringing together sporting passion and technological innovation under a unified global vision.
Seven years after opening its Australian branch, the company has further consolidated its local position with outstanding results and a new strategic acquisition. Pramac has announced the acquisition of PowerGen Australia, a company specialized in the installation and maintenance of generators. The deal brings into the group a highly skilled team, significantly enhancing local capabilities in after-sales and technical support services.
Founded in 2018 in Sydney, Pramac Australia is now a key player in the field of power generation and energy storage systems, in a country that plays a crucial role in the global energy transition. The Australian generator market is valued at around 400 million dollars for diesel and gas units, with an additional 1.4 billion dollars tied to energy storage systems—a rapidly growing sector driven by infrastructure investments, mining, and data centers.
With a team of 25 professionals, the branch is expected to reach over 33 million Australian dollars in revenue by 2025, doubling the previous year’s results. This remarkable growth is largely fueled by the expanding data center industry, where demand for reliable backup power solutions continues to rise.
