Trieste – “With the approval of this public call, we confirm and strengthen a measure that for years has offered young people in Friuli Venezia Giulia concrete opportunities for professional growth at European level, promoting geographical mobility as a qualified active labour policy tool.”
This was stated by Alessia Rosolen, Regional Councillor for Labour, Training, Education, Research, Universities and Family of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, following the approval by the Regional Government of the resolution adopting the new call for applications for extracurricular internships in geographical mobility through the EURES network (European Employment Services) for 2026.
The measure sets out the rules for access and is addressed to unemployed residents of Friuli Venezia Giulia aged 18 and over. Applications, accompanied by the internship agreement and the individual training plan, must be submitted exclusively online, with SPID access, before the start of the internship and no later than 31 October 2026.
The scheme supports extracurricular internships lasting between a minimum of three and a maximum of six months, to be carried out in EU Member States, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, within the framework of the EURES network.
For 2026, funding amounts to €345,000, with the possibility of supplementing mobility allowances with additional European funds aimed, among other things, at strengthening language skills, supporting integration programmes with host organisations and facilitating the recognition of qualifications or professional titles.
