Hamburg – One algorithm answers a question. Another writes a novel. Yet another plans, decides, and acts in the real world. But what really lies behind these machines that seem to think? Artificial Intelligence is not magic. It is a complex game played between data, mathematical models, and computing power. A game that is changing the way we work, innovate, and make decisions. This will be discussed on May 13 at 7 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg during a conference organized in collaboration with the IPN Italian Professional Network, titled “Beyond ChatGPT: the true power of Artificial Intelligence,” curated by Kim A. Nicoli, Gabriele Capasso, and Davide Piacentini. The conference will explore how machines learn, how models such as ChatGPT are created, why some systems “reason” better than others, and what it truly means to have AI that does not merely respond but acts as an autonomous agent, also examining the limitations and errors of these tools.
