Linz – Since 2004, the Crossing Europe Film Festival in Linz has dedicated its annual program to European auteur cinema. The 23rd edition of the festival, running until May 3, will present works by both emerging directors and established names. Over the course of six days, around 140 feature films, documentaries, and short films will offer audiences a kaleidoscope of European perspectives, accompanied by discussions and various side events. This year’s edition features numerous Italian productions, including “Le bambine” by Valentina Bertani and Nicole Bertani, “Un anno di scuola” by Laura Samani, “Rosebush Pruning” by Karim Aïnouz, “Dom” by Massimiliano Battistella, and “White Lies” by Alba Zari.
