Chicago – From May 16 to 19, the Consorzio Tutela Grana Padano and the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma will take part in the National Restaurant Association Show 2026 at McCormick Place, one of the world’s leading events for the restaurant and hospitality sectors. The 2026 edition will bring together operators, buyers, chefs, distributors, and foodservice professionals from the United States and more than 100 countries. Widely regarded as a global benchmark for innovation in hospitality and dining, the NRA Show features more than 2,000 exhibitors across over 900 product categories, alongside educational sessions, live demonstrations, and discussions on technology, consumer trends, and operational efficiency. The event also offers extensive networking opportunities for both established professionals and younger generations entering the industry. The participation of the two consortia is part of the European Union-funded three-year campaign Distinctly, Deliciously, European, promoted in the United States and Canada to highlight the authenticity, quality, tradition, and versatility of two PDO products that have become symbols of European food excellence. The initiative includes tastings, retail promotions, restaurant collaborations, consumer events, and participation in major international trade fairs. (9Colonne)
