From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Bratislava – Coffee pots, including refined examples of design, professional bar machines and a range of objects connected to coffee culture are at the heart of a new exhibition opening at the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava. The show, open to the public until October 18, is part of the 19th edition of the Italian festival Dolce Vitaj. Italian coffee is presented as a global icon, shaped by a distinctive blend of cultural ritual, technological innovation and craftsmanship in preparation. What may appear to be a simple hot beverage is instead framed as a social experience, a symbol of national identity and an expression of Made in Italy excellence that extends well beyond taste alone. It is not just the drink itself, but the broader cultural and historical context surrounding coffee in Italy that has turned it into a worldwide reference point. The exhibition is curated by the Coffee Museum Association based in Trieste, an organization dedicated to promoting coffee culture through educational initiatives, cultural projects and exhibitions, often developed in collaboration with both Italian and international institutions, including the Coffee Museum of Santos in Brazil.
