Sharjah – The 57th edition of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has concluded with a record attendance of more than 97,000 visitors, marking a 6 percent increase over 2025 and reaffirming its position as the leading jewelry, goldsmithing and watchmaking exhibition in the United Arab Emirates. Held in the Emirate of Sharjah, the event brought together leading manufacturers and designers of gold, diamonds, gemstones, luxury jewelry and watches, highlighting both the strength of the regional luxury market and the growing importance of the UAE as a global trading hub for the sector. The Italian Pavilion once again stood out as the largest and most prominent international pavilion at the fair, which hosted 400 exhibitors from 19 countries across 30,000 square meters of exhibition space. Organized and coordinated by Artex for the past 41 editions, the Italian Pavilion continues to earn recognition for the quality, craftsmanship and design of its jewelry collections. This year, 34 companies from across Italy participated, representing some of the country’s leading jewelry producers. The exhibitors included 12 companies from Piedmont, nine from Campania, five from Lombardy, four from Tuscany, two from Veneto, and one each from Lazio and Marche. “Visitor numbers and sales results were excellent,” said Sara Biagiotti of Artex. “The Italian Pavilion is particularly appreciated for its ability to combine innovation and tradition, with a strong focus on detail and uniqueness. The Arabian Peninsula market continues to reward Made in Italy products, where Italy holds an 8 percent market share that nearly doubled during the first two months of 2026, following a record year in 2025.” According to Biagiotti, Italian jewelry exports to the UAE reached €1.3 billion in 2025, confirming Italy’s leadership in high-quality design and craftsmanship. “The Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show remains an ideal platform for Italian companies seeking to strengthen their presence in this important market,” she added.
