Guangzhou - On September 8 and 9, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will organize a collective trade pavilion at the "Marca China Private Label Fair," held at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo Centre in Canton, as part of promotional initiatives aimed at expanding Italian private labels. Now in its fifth edition, "Marca China" is coordinated by the Italian trade fair group BolognaFiere as the sister event to "Marca by BolognaFiere & ADM." Held in China's Guangdong province, the trade fair serves as a professional exhibition and commercial platform designed to connect manufacturers, major retail chains, and premium brand owners across the global private-label industry, with a strong focus on the agrifood sector. For Italian manufacturers, China remains the strategic epicenter for Far East expansion. The People’s Republic of China stands as Italy’s second-largest Asian market for agrifood exports, which surged by 12.9% in 2025 to reach €487 million. (9colonne)
