Ankara - The Transatlantic Investment Committee (TIC) and the Trans-Atlantic Strategic Programs Association (TASP) have announced a new strategic partnership between Italy and Turkey, following the signing of a Letter of Intent on November 27, 2025.
The three-year renewable agreement aims to strengthen bilateral dialogue across investments, institutional relations, and business opportunities. The partnership's first milestone will be an Italian delegation mission to Turkey, taking place from September 28 to October 1, 2026, across Istanbul and Ankara.
The itinerary features a cultural tour of Istanbul's Historic Peninsula - including Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapı Palace - alongside high-level institutional meetings with DEİK, the Presidency Finance Office, the Italian Embassy, and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Delegates will also participate in B2B sector-specific meetings with Turkish business counterparts.
The 12-member delegation will be accompanied by a dedicated coordination team, stay in five-star accommodations in downtown Istanbul and Ankara, and receive VIP ground transportation, professional English-speaking guides, and Turkish Airlines flights. The initiative targets Italian entrepreneurs, executives, and investors looking to explore commercial and institutional partnerships in Turkey with direct access to key decision-makers. (9colonne)
