São Paulo – Laura Pausini has released a new single tailored for the Brazilian and Portuguese markets: a cover of "Quando chove," a track originally written in 1980 by one of Italy’s finest singer-songwriters, Pino Daniele. While already included in the tracklist of her album "Io canto 2" (released on February 6), this version features a duet, reaffirming her deep connection with the Portuguese language. For this new release, Laura drew inspiration from Patricia Marx's 1994 rendition, joining forces with well-known Brazilian artist Sandy. The two also shared the set for the music video shot in Milan, directed by Leandro Manuel Emede for Sugarkane. Meanwhile, the most-streamed Italian artist abroad is gearing up for her live return to Italy as part of the European leg of her WORLD TOUR 2026/2027. Her eleventh world tour has already sold 450,000 tickets worldwide—with numerous sold-out dates—and will kick off again this autumn in major arena venues, running through late 2027. (9colonne)
