London – On Sunday, August 16, Walpole Park in Ealing, London, hosted the fourth edition of the Ferragosto Picnic, organized by the MIE Circle of London (Circolo MIE di Londra) to mark the traditional Italian summer holiday.
As with previous editions, the event sold out days in advance, cementing its status as one of the most anticipated summer gatherings for the UK’s Italian community. From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, attendees filled the park with picnic blankets, shared Italian delicacies, and enjoyed a vibrant festive atmosphere.
Alongside numerous Italian families, the event also drew local British residents, a testament to the growing, sustained interest in the initiatives sponsored and supported by the Circle. This strong turnout highlights the organization's deepening roots in Ealing, where it is based, as well as the frequent participation of local authorities in its events.
