Los Angeles – From Rome to Los Angeles. "QUINN", a short film directed by Gianluca Mangiasciutti and Stefano Usberghi, starring Costantino Seghi and Filippo De Carli, has been selected as the only all-Italian entry at the 22nd edition of the HollyShorts Film Festival (2026). The festival is widely recognized as a premier global showcase for short films and serves as an official qualifying event for both the Academy Awards and the BAFTAs.
This recognition brings Italy's GM Production straight to the center of the international film industry with a narrative that tackles themes of identity, gender-based violence, and self-discovery. QUINN will screen in the "Thriller" category on Friday, August 21, 2026, starting at 7:30 PM at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres. (9colonne)
