From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
The Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will organize a national pavilion at Cartoon Forum 2026 for the first time, strengthening Italy’s presence at one of Europe’s leading animation industry events. The forum will take place in Toulouse, France, from September 14 to 17.
Founded in 1990, Cartoon Forum is a unique platform dedicated to pitching pre-selected television animation projects. It brings together producers, broadcasters, investors and distributors, offering opportunities to secure international partnerships, co-production agreements, pre-sales and distribution deals.
ICE’s participation aims to encourage new collaborations between Italian animation companies and both French and international partners, while increasing the global visibility of Italy’s creative sector.
Pitching sessions remain the core of the event, with each company given 30 minutes to present its project to a room of potential partners and decision-makers. The previous edition attracted 870 participants from 37 countries, including 239 buyers representing 394 companies.
With its strong focus on networking, creativity and international cooperation, Cartoon Forum continues to be a key meeting point for the global animation industry.
